One of my big inspirations were pianists and keyboardists such as Chick Corea, Bill Evans, Tony Banks or Sviatoslav Richter. I was influenced by Chick Corea's Children's Songs album as well as Tchaikovsky's Four Seasons and Musorgsky's Pictures At The Exhibition. All those works are piano cycles - a compositional form I adore. So I tried to write my own little piano etudes. Of course, I'm not a pianist at all, but this was more of a compositional attempt. Besides, I've always dreamed of being a film score composer and probably these etudes could be useful.
